During the last few minutes of your approach to Madeira, you must have admired the steeply sloping tip that marks the eastern end of the flower island. Exposed to wind and waves, only very resistant plants have been able to assert themselves here, laying a green carpet on the peninsula in the wet season. In the middle of this landscape there is a building of the nature conservation authority, which also houses a small cafe. Look forward to great views and a breath of fresh air.
